Aspiring Youth is RA's after-school program component geared toward youth in grades 1 thru 10.
Aspiring Youth provides a complete age and grade appropriate curriculum that includes art-based education and instruction. In Aspiring Youth, adolescence will participate in an innovative program that will allow them to engage their ideas rather than report on them. By doing this, adolescence learn to build upon vital skills, such as mind-building, self-expression, and self-esteem.
Aspiring Youth offers:
On-site cultural art education and instruction in chosen art-forms
Academic tutorial with school assignments throughout school year
Academic enrichment throughout the summer program
Social development through mentoring program and workshops
Student performances, exhibitions, and public art work display
